Privacy Policy
Effective: August 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Tyrus Tech LLC (“Tyrus Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and retains information through the corporate website at tyrus-tech.com and when you contact us through this website.
1. Scope
This policy applies to this corporate website and its contact form. It does not govern a separately branded Tyrus Tech product, a client-operated system, or an external website merely because we link to it. Those services may provide their own privacy notices. A client contract may also contain different or additional terms for information processed during an engagement.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
When you use the contact form or correspond with us, we collect the name, email address, message, and any other information you choose to provide. Please do not send passwords, financial account information, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive personal information through the contact form. Accepted contact-form messages are temporarily queued in Redis through BullMQ before our email worker processes them.
Website and analytics information
Our hosting infrastructure may process standard request information such as an IP address, requested page, timestamp, browser or user-agent information, and referring page for delivery, security, and troubleshooting.
We use self-hosted Rybbit and Matomo analytics services to understand website usage. Depending on the request and analytics configuration, these systems may process the requested URL, including its query parameters, page title, referring URL, browser or user-agent information, preferred language, a randomly generated visitor identifier, and IP address. We do not use this information for targeted advertising or cross-site profiling.
3. Cookies and browser controls
Matomo uses a first-party _pk_id cookie containing a random identifier for up to
one year. It is marked Secure, HTTP-only, and SameSite=Lax. Rybbit may use browser storage or
other browser-provided information as part of its analytics operation. You can block or delete
cookies and site data through your browser settings, although doing so may affect some website
behavior.
4. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and discuss potential work.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- To measure aggregate website usage and improve the website.
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal rights and comply with applicable law.
5. How we disclose information
We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary:
- To infrastructure, email, analytics, and other service providers that process information on our behalf.
- To comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of Tyrus Tech, our users, or others.
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information, rent contact information, or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Retention
We ordinarily retain non-client inquiries for up to 24 months after the last communication. If an inquiry develops into a business relationship, we may retain related records for the term of the relationship and afterward as reasonably necessary for contractual, accounting, security, or legal purposes. Analytics and operational logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for measurement, security, and troubleshooting, after which they are deleted or aggregated.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, email info@tyrus-tech.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where permitted or required by law.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we process. No system or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
This corporate website is intended for a general and business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child has submitted personal information here, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
